Police have released a CCTV image of two men they wish to speak to as part of an investigation into a sexual assault on a woman in Ancoats last September.

On the morning of September 26, police received a report that a woman had been sexually assaulted by an unknown male at an address on Malta Street.

The incident happened following a night out in the city centre.

Following enquiries, detectives believe the two men pictured, who may have links to Liverpool, could help with their investigation.

Anyone with information, or anyone who knows the men pictured, are asked to contact City of Manchester CID on 0161 856 1146, quoting log number 948 of the 26th September 2021.
