Police CCTV appeal after axe robbers steal cash and cigs from convenience store
Police want to speak to this man after staff at a convenience store were threatened with an axe during a terrifying armed robbery. Two thieves made off with cash and cigarettes following the raid on the shop in Tameside.
Police were called to One Stop on Droylsden Road, Audenshaw at about 6.20am on Monday. They say two men entered the store, with one of them threatening a member of staff with an axe before demanding money from the till, while the other stood at the door acting as a lookout.

They then left the shop with money and tobacco. The men are believed to have fled on a bicycle in the direction of Kershaw Lane.
No-one was injured. No arrests have been made but officers would like to speak to the man pictured as part of the investigation.
