Police appeal for 'wanted' man from Manchester

Police have issued an appeal for the public's help to locate a Manchester man they say is wanted after he 'failed to appear' in court in connection with theft allegations.

Jonathan Farrell is 37 and is said to have links to both Manchester and Cheshire.

Cheshire Police, in a statement issued on Monday, said he was 'wanted after failing to attend court in relation to theft offences in Knutsford'.

No further details have been revealed. Farrell's photograph and details of the case are being shared on the force's social media profiles.

Cheshire Police said in the statement: "Police are appealing for help from the public in tracing a 37-year-old man from Manchester.

"Jonathan Farrell is wanted after failing to attend court in relation to theft offences in Knutsford. Farrell is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of a slight build, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

"He has links to both Manchester and Cheshire.

"Anyone with any information about Farrell’s whereabouts should contact Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting 23000673159."
