Police appeal after thieves steal top-of-the-range road bikes worth thousands
Police are appealing for information after the theft of two top-of-the-range road bikes worth thousands of pounds. A Pinarello Prince and Trek Madone were stolen during a burglary at a property near Buile Hill Park, Salford.
Bought new and depending on the model, the black Trek ranges in price from around £4,500 to more than £13,000, while the red Pinarello is on sale for up to £5,000. The theft took place at around 2.35am on Monday.

No arrests have been made. Police are now appealing to the public for information about the theft.
A post on the GMP Salford Facebook page says: "Officers are appealing for information for the whereabouts of two bikes taken during a burglary. A red Pinarello Prince and a black Trek Madone.
"On Monday, February 12, 2024 at approximately 2.35am an unknown offender took two bikes from an address close to Buile Hill Park, Salford."
