Pogba, Mbappe, Dembele: Out of contract XI ahead of the summer

There are just two months remaining of the domestic season in Europe and there is still plenty to play for.

There are leagues to be clinched, cups to be won and some huge moments to come.

But there is also the admin side of football that needs to be sorted before the summer.

Clubs will be looking at which transfer targets they want to sign at the end of the season. But if they want a bargain, they may well be looking at the free transfer bucket to snap up a world-class player for absolutely nothing.

That’s because there are a number of incredible players who are still yet to sign a new contract at their current club. Some may well do before the season starts but for many, it seems a free transfer is on the cards this summer.

To demonstrate just how many brilliant players will be out of contract, we’ve created an XI of stars whose contract is expiring.

And to sum up just how good the XI is, there is no room for the likes of Gareth Bale, Luis Suarez, Isco, Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic, Arturo Vidal, Angel di Maria, Cesc Fabregas, Hatem Ben Arfa, Matthias Ginter or Axel Witsel.
