Pitch inspections set for Tallaght and Dalymount Park
Two of tonight's SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Premier Division fixtures are in doubt as a result of adverse weather conditions in Dublin.
As a result of heavy rain and snow in the capital, there will be a pitch inspection held this afternoon ahead of Shamrock Rovers' home clash with Drogheda United as well as Bohemians' game with Dundalk.
The Tallaght Stadium inspection takes place at lunchtime (1.30pm), while Dalymount Park will be assessed at 3:30pm.
A statement from the league read: "The League of Ireland can confirm a pitch inspection will be held at Tallaght Stadium at 13.30 ahead of tonight's SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division fixture between Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda United due to adverse weather conditions.
"A pitch inspection will also take place at Dalymount Park at 15.30 ahead of Bohemian’s clash with Dundalk. We will issue any further communication in due course."
