Pink at University of Bolton Stadium - list of banned items and bag rules for Manchester shows

Global pop sensation Pink kicks off the European leg of her Summer Carnival 2023 tour this week with two huge gigs at the University of Bolton Stadium. The Grammy-Award winning singer, who is known for her powerful voice and energetic shows is expected to perform an array of smash hits from her incredible three-decade career, alongside tracks from her new album, Trustfall.

Due to the size of the event, which will see 70,000 head to the stadium over two nights, there will be tight security and a number of guidelines for gig-goers to keep in mind when heading to the University of Bolton Stadium. In particular, there are a number of prohibited items that you are not allowed to take inside the ground. All ticketholders will be checked by security officials on the way in.

Below, you'll find more information of what you can and can't take in to the two gigs, and a break down of what you can and can't do at the shows too. Taking your own food and drink into the ground is not allowed - but there are food and drink options available to purchase.

Doors open at 4.30pm, and the first act, DJ and producer KidCutUp will be on stage at 5.30pm, before Gayle at 6.45pm and The Script at 7.30pm. All ticket holders are now prohibited from bringing any bag into the stadium unless it is smaller than an A4 piece of paper (height: 297mm width: 210mm depth: 210mm). Bags will be checked at an outer cordon before entering the stadium.
