Philippe Clement argues two Rangers penalty flashpoints but Neil Lennon tells him he's talking waffle

Philippe Clement insists Connor Goldson was WRONGLY penalised for handball in a derby day of drama.

The Ibrox defender was picked out by VAR for a handball in the first period with the Belgian boss disagreeing with the decision to point to the spot. Fabio Silva was then awarded a spot-kick of his own early in the second period after Alistair Johnston was judged to have fouled the attacker after review with an initial yellow card for simulation chopped off by the man in the middle. Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon was in the Sky Sports studio and let rip over the award of Rangers' penalty after Clement's post-match interview. He claimed the Belgian was talking WAFFLE to suggest Goldson was NOT a penalty but Silva's WAS.

Speaking to Sky, the Ibrox boss said on the Goldson penalty: "Also to get a penalty against like that. Every single manager in the world gets stress out of these rules with handballs. This ball is deflected at the last split second. My defender jumps with his arm up as you need to do that to jump. He tries to put his arm away but it hits his elbow. That's the worst scenario you can have to be 0-2 behind at half-time. Second half all the boys showed their real personality and so many steps have been made the last couple of months but this is a really clear signal for the outside world what this dressing room is about and how they changed their mind and now with a winning and never giving up mentality."

On Silva penalty call, he explained: "It is not getting a penalty. Everybody is really clear it is a penalty. He's been kicked against his knee. So it is not getting anything.
