Phil Foden Fully Wiped Out Aaron Wan-Bissaka With Shoulder Charge And 'Absolutely Bullied' Man United Defender

Foden, 21, was hailed for his impressive performance in City’s crushing derby win, with the energetic England midfielder giving Wan-Bissaka a tough time.

With United 2-1 down going into half-time, Wan-Bissaka was caught by complete surprise by Foden after trying to keep possession early in the second half.

Footage of the 24-year-old United right-back being wiped out by Foden made the rounds on social media, with one fan saying Wan-Bissaka was “absolutely bullied.”

“I’d bring Wan-Bissaka off after that. You can’t be allowing Foden to do that to you and then get on with the game as normal,” one fan tweeted.

Another Twitter user posted: “Seeing Aaron Wan-Bissaka getting bodied by Phil Foden is just mental.”

Someone else commented: “Wan-Bissaka is hopeless!!! Absolutely got bullied then [by] Foden.”

While a fourth fan said: “Foden pushed Wan-Bissaka like a bag of potatoes. Embarrassing.”

A fifth added: “Wan-Bissaka just got absolutely obliterated off the ball by Foden. Don’t ever tell me he deserves a start over [Diogo] Dalot.”

Kevin De Bruyne fired City into an early lead over United before Jadon Sancho pulled back a stunning equaliser for the Red Devils.

The 30-year-old Belgian playmaker then restored City’s lead and completed his brace, with United unable to rally back against the defending Premier League champions.
