Peter Grant in Rangers ‘told you so’ over Alfredo Morelos as Celtic hero brutally explains why Ibrox exit won't happen

Defiant Peter Grant insists he has been proven right over Alfredo Morelos after Gio van Bronckhorst dropped the striker for the striker for the crucial clash with PSV Eindhoven.

He was asked about his previous comments on Morelos and his take on being left in Glasgow. He told The Go Radio Football Show: “It’s not a surprise but it’s one time that I don’t like to be correct.

"Being a professional footballer is the best job in the world. It’s a massive football club, (and) he has had ample opportunities.

"It’s time and time again that he’s let them down on the football pitch, now he seems to have let them down off the pitch by not being the greatest professional. Every time you read about him going away to Spain or wherever, but I told you he wasn’t that good, and I think his agents have been trying to sell him for a long, long time.
