Persona 5 Royal: What is the release date?

Nintendo fans finally get their dream after years of anticipation, rumours, and conjecture. Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable will all be available on the Nintendo Switch, which has long been seen as the ideal platform for the well-liked RPG series.

The announcement is consistent with earlier reports that the series will be available on Xbox and PC, which were made during today’s Nintendo Direct Mini. 

Outside of Persona 4 Golden’s previous PC release, the Persona games have historically been connected to PlayStation platforms.

Persona 3, 4, and 5 will be available on all major platforms after the Nintendo Switch release. Although Persona 3 Portable is somewhat more of a point-and-click visual novel due to the restrictions of the original PSP release on which it is based, all three are technically enhanced copies of their original releases. However, it is the only submission featuring a tale with a female protagonist.

Persona 5 will be released for the Nintendo Switch on Friday, 21st October 2022.
