Persona 5 Royal: Everything We Know So Far

With the entire editions of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal—the latter of which had already been leaked a few days prior—the Persona series is launching. It will also serve as the series’ entry point for the Atlus label.

With the exception of Persona 4 Golden, the news was announced at the most recent Nintendo Direct accompanied by an announcement video, confirming that the games will also be available.

Persona 5 Royal received an official release date, and the Japanese publisher confirmed that all three Persona games will be coming on Nintendo Switch on its official website ahead of today’s Nintendo Direct Mini show.

The Persona 5 Royal listing that was discovered on a European retailer earlier this month sparked a string of rumours that the games would be coming to the portable.

There is no new information on the game, but we will update this area as soon as new information becomes available. Stay tuned for more information.

Finally, the release date for Persona 5 Royal has arrived. The game will be made available on 21st October 2022 for Nintendo Switch.

You can watch the trailer that Atlus released to commemorate the release of the three games below.

The main character, who must transfer to a high school in Tokyo, has an odd dream. “You truly are a prisoner of fate. In the near future, ruin awaits you.”  He must put on the mask of a Phantom Thief to protect people from twisted desires with the objective of “rehabilitation” hanging over his head. The previously published DLC for Persona 5 Royal is now a part of the base game.

Persona 5 Royal will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series
