The Etihad is becoming an unofficial LinkedIn for top clubs in England and Europe as more and more turn to the players and staff that have helped develop such success under Pep Guardiola. City's manager has not been tempted away in the last eight years, but plenty of his colleagues have had their heads turned by other opportunities.

Enzo Maresca is the latest, with the former City assistant getting the hotseat at Chelsea after steering Leicester back to the Premier League in his first full season as a coach. Here is a look at what has happened to the team who have helped Guardiola and City to deliver success.

Domenec Torrent (2016-2018)

Guardiola's right-hand man at Barcelona and Bayern Munich followed him to Manchester and stayed through a difficult first season before helping to mastermind the 100 points season. He then moved to City's sister club New York City FC as head coach and has since managed at Flamengo and Galatasaray.

Mikel Arteta (2016-2019)

Arteta joined Guardiola's backroom staff months after confirming his retirement from playing after five years at Arsenal, and quickly made a serious impression on staff and players. That reputation built up over the next few years to the point where Arsenal bosses followed him back to Manchester after a 3-0 City win at the Emirates to convince him to move back to North London.

It took time to get going in his first role as head coach but the Gunners have established themselves as one of the best teams in Europe and came close to toppling City
