Pep Guardiola reveals what Liverpool will not do in Premier League title race

Pep Guardiola says Manchester City will need to 'win every game' if they're to lift the Premier League trophy over Liverpool as he does not expect their rivals to drop any points.

The two clubs find themselves battling it out once again for the honours after it last went to the wire in the 2018/19 season, when the Manchester club pipped the Reds on the final match day.

Jurgen Klopp's side lifted their first piece of silverware this season after beating Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, now they hope to win even more with the league title, Champions League and FA Cup firmly in sight.

City are the only thing that stand in the way of their 20th top-flight league title, but Guardiola expects his side to fight right until the end and says they'll need to win every game between now and the end of the season.

“It’s not the first time we’ve been in this situation and we have learned from that in the past,” said Guardiola [via The Independent ].

“We felt it in the past and we have to do it this year. So it’s not an exception.

“Eleven games left and we know exactly what we need to do; we need to win all of them or nearly all of them to be champion.

“Every game will be an incredibly tough battle and you have to face every game knowing if we drop points it will be difficult to be champion.”

City appeared to be front runners just a number of weeks ago but Liverpool
