Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of Everton vs Manchester City. The Blues will be back on their travels on Sunday for the short trip to Merseyside where they will face relegation-threatened Everton at Goodison Park.

City endured a physical and draining battle with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Tuesday, escaping the Spanish capital with a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.

Changes may be expected to the starting XI following such a gruelling match, especially with the second leg just around the corner on Wednesday. Guardiola may offer some insight into how his squad are doing after the game.

The boss may also be asked about the condition of Nathan Ake as the defender has missed the last two games with another hamstring injury.
