Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE: Man City early team news and injury updates vs Sunderland
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola will address the media this afternoon ahead of the visit of Sunderland to the Etihad Stadium.
City narrowly came out on top in a nine-goal thriller against Fulham on Tuesday night which saw the Blues close the gap temporarily on Arsenal. It was also a big night for Erling Haaland who scored his 100th Premier League goal and he is likely to be a topic of conversation in the press conference.
As will the fitness of Rodri as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury suffered during the victory over Bournemouth. Guardiola has been coy on the midfielder's fitness to date.
Sunderland have been the dark horses in the Premier League this season and have adapted well following their promotion from the Championship. The Black Cats drew 1-1 at Liverpool in midweek and are just five points behind City in sixth.
