Pep Guardiola press conference live Man City early team news and injury updates vs Swansea

Pep Guardiola will speak to the media today to preview Manchester City's Carabao Cup clash with Swansea.

City failed to make it 10 games unbeaten in all competitions on Sunday as they lost 1-0 to Aston Villa. The defeat saw them slip down to fifth in the table, six points behind early pace-setters Arsenal.

The League Cup will take centre stage tomorrow night, with City hoping to book their place in the quarter-final with a victory over Swansea.

Guardiola will provide the latest on the injury front and give any early team news ahead of the clash. Tomorrow could be a chance for some of the club's academy stars to be given a run out. Divine Mukasa, Jaden Heskey and Reigan Heskey all made their City debuts in the last round of the competition as City strolled to a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield.

It has taken Doku time to adapt to life under Pep Guardiola, not helped by the fact that the team form disappeared last season. He has also been hampered by persistent injuries, including in February when he ran a Premier League game at Ipswich only to then be sidelined for weeks.
