Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE Man City team news ahead of Liverpool FC fixture

Pep Guardiola will talk to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Sunday's massive clash with rivals Liverpool.

Manchester City travel to Anfield still undefeated in all competitions, though they did have a tough evening on Tuesday as they played out a goalless draw with FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.

The Blues have grabbed 10 goals in their last two Premier League outings, however, and are coming up against a Liverpool that are far from their best. Jurgen Klopp's side did stick seven past Rangers on Wednesday but are down in 10th in the league.

The Reds only have two wins to their name so far this season, lost to Arsenal last time out and have a large injury list. Seven players are currently ruled out including Luis Diaz, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip.

City have their own injury concerns, though, with Kalvin Phillips, John Stones and Kyle Walker all sidelined and fatigue setting in within the squad. Guardiola may offer a team news update in his press conference.
