Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE Man City team news vs Bournemouth and Bernardo Silva updates

Pep Guardiola will offer an update on his Manchester City squad and transfer plans ahead of the Premier League fixture vs Bournemouth this weekend.

City welcome newly promoted Bournemouth, who impressed in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa last weekend. Guardiola will be looking for a similar performance from City, who were clinical at West Ham in a 2-0 victory of their own, with Erling Haaland scoring both goals.

Guardiola could be asked about Bernardo Silva's future, after last week admitting that he doesn't know if the playmaker will leave the club this summer. Bernardo has spoken on the issue this week, saying he also doesn't know what will happen, but said he will remain professional and committed to City as long as he remains.

Also on the agenda could be an update on City's search for a left-back, with the Blues agreeing a fee for Anderlecht's Sergio Gomez this week. Gomez is seen as a development signing, though, and could be sent out on loan, as City remain in the market for a senior left-back before the September 1 transfer deadline.

Tactics isn't
