Manchester City are one game away from becoming footballing immortals with the Champions League final stage set in Istanbul.

Italian giants Inter stand in their way of becoming just the second English side ever to achieve the treble after clasping hands on the Premier League and FA Cup last month.

This is the one trophy missing from the silverware cabinet having come so close two years ago in Lisbon. They will now get another bite of the cherry across the continent in Turkey, only this time with football history on the line.

Pep Guardiola mainly has a clean bill of health going into the showpiece, although there is expected to be an update on Kyle Walker, who is a doubt despite making the 32-man squad.

He did not take part in team training in Manchester ahead of the flight over to Istanbul and his manager is expected to provide an update this evening.
