“Kulusevski, what a player," Guardiola said in January last year after City came from behind to beat Tottenham at the Etihad. He was impressed by him again in the recent Carabao Cup tie between the two sides, and when asked what he liked about him, he simply said, "Everything."
But Kulusevki loves playing against City as well. Speaking after Spurs' stunning win at the Etihad, when answering a question that suggested this result was beyond their wildest dreams, he revealed that this is the first fixture he looks for when they come out in June.
“I believe this because in the past years, we’ve come here and played really well. So this is the game I look forward to most in the year and once again, it happens," he said.
