Pep Guardiola breaks silence on England links and reveals one 'condition' for Serie A move

Pep Guardiola has suggested that 'anything can happen' regarding his future in football, amid speculation linking him with the England job.

Following Gareth Southgate's resignation after Euro 2024, with interim manager Lee Carsley reportedly uninterested in taking on the role permanently, Guardiola is emerging as a potential candidate.

As his Manchester City contract comes to an end this summer, it could pave the way for him to become the Three Lions boss just in time for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. When probed about the possibility of managing England, Guardiola told Che Tempo Che Fa: "I haven't finished my career at Manchester City yet, I still have to think about it."

He added, "It's not true that I'll be the England coach. I haven't decided anything yet, if I had decided my future at Manchester City I would say so, anything can happen in life."

During an appearance on an Italian talk show, the host couldn't resist trying to coax Pep Guardiola into considering a managerial stint in Serie A.
