Penalty to Rangers creates Hotline stench as Ibrox diehards fear they've been set up to be Parkhead patsy's

Storm Gerrit may be easing off but the furore surrounding Ross County’s decision to leave for Ibrox on the day of the game shows little sign of abating.

Rangers’ chance of again closing the gap on Premiership leaders Celtic ahead of the big derby day suffered a whiteout wipeout. That, penalties (or not as the case may be) plus the reaction to the Edinburgh Derby were all the hot topics on the hottest of Hotlines .

Robert Pender said: “Why did Ross County, knowing the forecast, not leave earlier to beat the weather? Seems a little unprofessional.” Andrew Adams, Kirkcaldy, quipped: “Have Ross County officials not heard of a new thing, it’s called ‘The Weather Forecast’.
