Paul Merson agrees with pundits as they make Man City vs Bournemouth score predictions
Manchester City will be targeting a fourth successive win in all competitions when they welcome Bournemouth to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
City, who have won each of their previous 12 Premier League meetings with the Cherries, will be looking to build on last Sunday's emphatic 3-0 win over rivals Manchester United. Goals from Erling Haaland (2) and Phil Foden sealed as comfortable a victory manager Pep Guardiola could have wished for.
Victory at Old Trafford put the Blues back on level points with second-placed Arsenal and just two behind table-toppers Tottenham Hotspur. City will be the first of the trio play this weekend, meaning they will move back to the top of the table, at least for a short while, with another three-point haul.

With that said, Guardiola will no doubt remind his players of that incentive ahead of kick-off. Arsenal play Newcastle United in the 5.30pm kick-off on Saturday, with Spurs facing London rivals Chelsea on Monday night.
But how do the pundits think City will get on this weekend?MEN Sport has had a close look.
"Bournemouth finally got their first league win under Andoni Iraola last weekend but I'm still not convinced about him," Sutton told BBC Sport. "Let's face it, his side are in for a tough afternoon at Etihad Stadium, where City have won their past 21 home games in all competitions
"City boss Pep Guardiola might make a few changes here and it will be interesting to see whether he goes with Jack Grealish or Jeremy Doku on the left - Doku was brilliant there against Brighton, then Grealish came in and played so well
