Paul McCartney announces UK shows including two nights in Manchester

Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney has announced he is to perform four huge UK tour dates in 2024 in Manchester and London. It will fulfil his promise to perform in the UK again, made at his last show here in 2022.

The music legend announced he is to take his acclaimed Got Back tour out on a world tour last week, and today the first UK dates have been added to his 2024 schedule.

He will play Manchester's Co-op Live on Saturday December 14 and Sunday December 15, before heading to London's O2 Arena to play on Wednesday December 18 and Thursday December 19. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 21.

He performs hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music on stage – dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and Beatles catalogues that have formed the soundtracks to modern life.

The four gigs will mark Paul’s first UK shows since his iconic Glastonbury headlining performance in 2022. Hailed as “one of the greatest gigs of all time” by The Times and “a masterclass from the greatest living cultural figure in this country’s history” by The i, it was also Paul and his band’s 500th show together.

Paul’s last show in London was in 2018 at The O2 and his last Manchester show was in 2011 at the then MEN Arena. These UK shows will round off the Got Back tour 2024 dates.
