Paul Heckingbottom 'not bothered' by Sheffield United statistic ahead of play-off run in

Paul Heckingbottom says he's "not bothered" by Sheffield United's away form despite being five games without a win on the road. The Blades have failed to score in four of those five and have slipped out of the play-off places after defeat to Stoke City.

A John Egan own goal was the difference against the Potters, but United have hope heading into the final seven games of the season. Heckingbottom admits the Blades away form "has been magnificent until recently" but with five of the seven remaining games at home, is confident they can secure their play-off spot come the end of the season.

United are set to face QPR, Bournemouth, Reading, Cardiff City and Fulham at Bramhall Lane and know their home form will play a huge part in the Championship run in. Trips to Bristol City and QPR are the only two remaining games on the road for the Blades this season.

Heckingbottom said: "Our away form has been magnificent until recently, we have lost three in the last half a dozen, which would have made the run-in a lot easier. I have said it many a time, I am not really bothered where the points come from.

"I will take them wherever but the fact that we have got five games at home and our home form has been really good is a real positive for us. It's five without a win away but we have still been picking up points, obviously at home. But we have also gone a period of time winning games away, so we know we can do it."
