Paul Flynn's All-Ireland quarter-final predictions
Each of the four games warrant top billing. However, it's the opportunity to witness the next chapters in two storied rivalries that make it unmissable.
SATURDAY
Kerry v Tyrone, 3.45pm
First up, we have Kerry taking on Tyrone. It was my first All-Ireland final in 2008 when the bearded Tyrone ambushed the might of Kerry. While the personnel have changed, the Red Hand of Tyrone will be setting up an ambush to dethrone the champions.
If this ambush doesn't effectively shut out David Clifford, then I don't see Tyrone having a chance. He's the superstar of our game. He always delivers on the big day. Saturday will be no different. I see David Clifford leading Kerry to victory.
Verdict: Kerry
Armagh v Monaghan, 6pm
A tough act to follow but these two teams are in bonus territory. They've nothing to lose going into this game.
When both these teams push up on kick-outs, in particular Armagh, they play with an aggression, freedom and energy which will make this game a fantastic spectacle.
Armagh have their leader Rian O'Neill back, he loves Croke Park. Conor McManus always delivers in Croke Park for Monaghan. Could this be his last dance?
I hate writing off Monaghan but I'm going to go with an Armagh victory by the tightest of margins.
Verdict: Armagh
SUNDAY
Derry v Cork, 1.45pm
If Saturday wasn't enough, we've to do it all again on Sunday. Same place, different teams. Cork take on Derry in the first fixture of the day. Their league game in March was 1-14 apiece. Cork scored 1-06 to 0-01 in the last 25 minutes to get that draw.
That finishing trait is expected of them, they've shown it in the group stages of this competition so far. Derry's group game performances have come under the radar but they're finely posed for this one.
