Patrik Schick and five strikers Fabio Paratici could target as Harry Kane Tottenham alternative

One item at the top of Fabio Paratici's transfer to-do list this summer will be to sign a new striker for Tottenham. Antonio Conte's side have needed to find an alternative to Harry Kane for quite some time but have not managed to do so.

Carlos Vinicius did the job in 2020/21 under Jose Mourinho only for his loan deal from Benfica not to be made permanent, with Spurs failing to strengthen there in both the summer and winter windows. While the team do have Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn who can operate through the middle in Kane's absence, it's clear to see that they require another out-and-out frontman.

So which strikers should they be looking at this summer? takes a look.

Could Tottenham revisit a deal for the Inter Milan striker? Spurs were keen on securing a deal for the Argentina international ahead of the current campaign but Romelu Lukaku's move from the Nerazzurri to Chelsea put a stop to Martinez's transfer going through.

Pivotal in their Serie A title challenge with 17 goals and three assists in the league, an exit for the 24-year-old could be on the cards if Inter need to balance the books and bring money in. Martinez certainly wouldn't come cheap but he would help take Tottenham's attack to the next level.

Staying in Serie A, Paratici may want to make a move for Dybala as he is set to leave Juventus on a free transfer. Knowing the Argentine well after luring him to Turin during his spell at the club, Dybala also knows all about Tottenham after the club almost completed his signature in the summer of 2019.
