Paris 2024: Super Falcons beat Cameroon to advance into final qualifying round
Super Falcons of Nigeria have booked their place in the final round of the Paris 2024 Olympic qualifiers.
The Falcons progressed into the final round after beating Cameroon 1-0 in the second leg played on Monday, 26 February in Abuja.
In the first leg played in Douala last Friday, the Falcons held the Cameroonians to a 0-0 draw.
Esther Okoronkwo was the hero for the Falcons after scoring the only goal in the 14th minute.
The Falcons will now face either South Africa or Tanzania in the final qualifying round.
The South Africans won the first leg 3-0 away and are sure bet to advance.
