Paris 2024: Irish in action on Day 4 of Paralympics
Chloe MacCombe makes her Paralympic debut on Day 4 of the Games, accompanied by her guide Catherine Sands, racing in the para triathlon (PTVI), while twin sister Judith is also competing in the same competition.
The Derry natives are currently ranked number three and nine in the world; Eimear Nicholls is Judith's guide for the event.
In the PTS4 race, 2018 and 2019 World Triathlon Grand finals bronze medallist Cassie Cava is set for her first appearance at the Games for Team Ireland.
Martin Gordon and Damien Vereker will be eyeing a final spot as they take place in the B 1000m time trial at the Para cycling velodrome.
Gordon is paired with Eoin Mullen, while Vereker, who represented Ireland at the 2016 Paralympics, is with Mitchell McLaughlin.
Katie-George Dunlevy and Josephine Healion are also back in action at the velodrome, in the B 3000m individual pursuit qualifying round, having competed in the 1000m event on Friday.
Dunlevy and pilot Eve McCrystal finished fifth in the 1000m while Healion, with Linda Kelly as pilot, will be hoping to make it out of the heats.
