Parents 'feel cheated' by Peppa Pig toilet paper
Parents say they 'feel cheated' by Peppa Pig toilet roll that doesn't feature the character herself.
Mums and dads have been buying the four-pack of rolls, thinking it would make toilet time a bit more pleasurable for their little ones.
But the fact the pig herself, or her little brother George, don't appear on the rolls, is causing some dismay.
One mum shared a photo of the pack on the popular Family Lowdown Tips and Ideas Facebook group this week and said: "I feel slightly confused. So bought this Peppa Pig toilet paper for my daughter, I didn't look inside the packet, opened it at home and the toilet paper doesn’t even have Peppa on its rolls. I feel cheated."
She was inundated with hundreds of replies from parents, with many saying the same thing about the rolls, which instead feature some of Peppa and George's toys.
"Omg someone bought this for my kids and I was most upset when we opened it and it isn’t actually Peppa," replied one mum. "Glad it’s not just me lol."
And another added: "Yes I got this…after being persuaded by my daughter to get it…what a disappointment…where the frig is Peppa on it…I take great delight now wiping my girl's butts after a (poo emoji) on this misleading toilet paper…how can they sell it and put Peppa on the wrapping and not on the actual toilet paper."
Others made light of the situation, with one saying: "I don't think Peppa wanted to be a pig in s**t."
And others said it was probably for the best as their children wouldn't like to be wiping their bottoms on the popular character.
"I'm sure a Peppa fan would be reluctant to wipe poo onto a picture of their favourite character," said one mum.
With another adding: "Probably because kids don’t wanna smear Peppa with poop!?"
