'Paratici, sell this guy', 'The more I see of this...' - Many Spurs fans react as news emerges

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news that Brighton could make a move for Joe Rodon should they lose Dan Burn as per The Daily Mail.

As is often the case in the transfer window, each signing has a knock on effect, with Spurs now joining the train with other Premier League clubs.

We already know Newcastle are still aiming to make Brighton’s Burn a Magpie before the window closes. Should this happen, Graham Potter is ready to look for a loan move for Rodon from Spurs.

The Spurs Express reported the news on social media, with the fans delighted with the update, hoping it could help them with future dealings too.

“Paratici, sell this guy and get me Lamptey.” @godwinobiakor_

“Give us Lamptey.” @finnvkommer

“Would be a good move to develop under Potter in the 3 back.” @c_sand3rs

“Potter x Rodon reunion.” @Jaackthfc

“The more I see of this transfer window, the more I think we should concentrate on clearing a bloated squad first and foremost and not rush to buy or loan similar players to replace them. 4-6 out and one high quality replacement with the summer set for a rebuild.” @garybass4

“Joe Rodon + £30m = Lamptey.” @raywalker2010

Evidently the Tottenham Hotspur fans aren’t worried about losing Rodon, even on a permanent deal. He’s certainly not first choice at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, making just seven appearances this season.

There’s no guarantee that doing business with a club will help you get someone you want from them like the Spurs fans clearly want to happen, but it is something that has worked before. Look at Liverpool going for Diogo Jota and selling Ki-Jana Hoever to Wolves the same window. There was no link but it wouldn’t be a surprise if that made the deal easier.
