'Paratici knows all about' world-class Tottenham target Paulo Dybala

Paulo Dybala to Tottenham is an “interesting one”, says transfer insider Pete O’Rourke.

The Juventus forward has been linked with a move to north London, and O’Rourke has talked up a potential switch given his connection to Spurs director of football Fabio Paratici.

According to Alasdair Gold of football.london, Tottenham would “certainly be interested” in signing Dybala this summer if he fails to agree a new deal with Juventus.

The Argentine is out of contract at the end of the season and does not look close to putting pen to paper on a new one despite the Old Lady having reportedly agreed fresh terms with him initially.

As per Sky Sports Italia (via Football Italia), an agreement was in place before Juventus withdrew their proposal and demanded Dybala to take a pay cut, something he has seemingly been unwilling to do.

It leaves his future at the Allianz Stadium in doubt as Antonio Conte and Tottenham circle.

O’Rourke thinks the Dybala to Tottenham link is interesting, with the £45m-rated attacker being someone who Paratici is familiar with following his time working at Juventus.

“Dybala’s an interesting one,” O’Rourke said to GIVEMESPORT. “Obviously Fabio Paratici knows all about him from his time at Juventus, and he is a free agent in the summer.”

If Dybala leaves Juventus and Tottenham are after his signature, that feels inevitable. On a free transfer, the Argentina international is a no-brainer for any team.

He is an individual who scores goals, provides assists and can play up front and in the No.10 position.
