Australia and Pakistan are currently engaged in another game on the other side of the world in the Women's World Cup.

But only by 15 minutes, so the first ball will be at 3:45pm AEDT. We lost a fair bit of time yesterday, but the forecast for today is completely clear.

Because it's going to take one to get a result out of this Test match. We've arrived at day five with a grand total of 11 wickets taken in the match so far, with Australia's first innings yet to be completed.

The Aussies still trail by 27 runs, so I guess their only path to victory would be establishing a quick lead of about 150 and then bowling Pakistan out in two sessions. For Pakistan, I guess they need to bowl Australia out immediately, smash a quick lead of 150 and bowl Australia out in... one session? I don't know. There's got to be a path to victory somewhere, but it's hard to find right now considering the pitch remains as road-like as it was on the first morning.

But you always have to have your guard up in Test cricket, because historic moments can pop up when you least expect them. Maybe today could be one of those days.
