Páirc Uí Chaoimh to host Limerick-Kilkenny league final

It had been anticipated the clash would take place in Thurles but the Munster SFC match between Tipperary and Waterford is being played at FBD Semple Stadium on the same day.
Limerick powered past Tipperary in a high quality hurling league semi-final last Saturday night, with Kilkenny proving too strong for Cork the following day.
Last summer John Kiely's Treaty men defeated the Cats 1-31 to 2-26 in a thrilling All-Ireland final. In the wake of that loss, Brian Cody brought the curtain down on his 24-year reign as Kilkenny boss.
