Paige VanZant to headline first Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship show in London on July 9

Paige VanZant will headline the first Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event in the United Kingdom, it has been confirmed – after she recently signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling.

The former UFC star, 27, made the surprise switch to bareknuckle boxing after parting ways with the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation two years ago.

But it didn’t exactly go according to plan as she suffered back-to-back defeats to Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich before eventually jumping ship to AEW.

However, it seems she isn’t done quite just yet.

BKFC president David Feldman revealed the exciting news that the former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ runner-up will be a part of the main event extravaganza at Alexandra Palace in London this summer.

The 27-year-old blonde bombshell – who grew up in Yamhill County – lost her BKFC debut to Hart in 2020, and admitted she was aware of the negative press she received when she made the decision to sign with BKFC.

But she also confessed that she has ‘had so much fun’ despite the two losses as she looks to get her career back on track.

VanZant told MMA Fighting: “I’m not done yet.

“I know people saw me going into it as a terrible career move and there was all the negativity and the shock of me signing with bare-knuckle boxing.

“Yeah, I did go 0-2. I need to come out there, I need to get some wins under my belt. Those losses even though losing is terrible, I just had so much fun.”

BKFC was recently acquired by Triller, as it looks to expand Fight Club’s growth in combat sports.
