Paige VanZant officially confirmed for BKFC London at Wembley Arena on August 20

Paige VanZant has been officially confirmed as one half of the main event of BKFC London.

The former UFC fighter is set to join fellow MMA fighters Michael ‘Venom’ Page and Mike Perry, who will fight in the co-main event, in Wembley this August.

VanZant – who last fought in July – will headline the SSE Arena on Saturday, August 20.

The social media star made her bareknuckle boxing debut against Britain Hart in February 2021, before dropping her second appearance against Rachel Ostovich a few months later.

VanZant, who turned 28 in March after making her first pro wrestling appearance for AEW, will be competing in the UK for the first time as a professional.

BKFC president Dave Feldman told a press conference: “Paige VanZant will be the feature bout of the evening on this card.

“Paige VanZant will be having her third trip into the squared circle at Wembley Arena.”

The first line-up announcement also features the likes of Jamie Cox, Chris Fishgold, Connor Tierney, Mick Terrill and Sam Shewmaker.

VanZant – who initially shot to fame after competing on ‘Dancing with The Stars’ – previously remained non-committal about her future in mixed martial arts.

She told MMA Junkie: “Right now I have a lot on my plate with BKFC and with AEW, but I don’t know.

“I just turned 28 years old, so I don’t really like to say a door is closed unless I know what is for sure, and it’s definitely not in a place where I’m ready to hang my hat up entirely, so we’ll see.

“I’m having a lot of fun right now with bare-knuckle boxing and with pro wrestling, so I don’t really have my heart saying yes or no on absolutely anything (regarding MMA) right now.”

VanZant also explained why she enjoys creating content for her OnlyFans-style account.
