Paddy Pimblett identifies the exact moment Jordan Leavitt 'crumbled' at UFC London

UFC star Paddy Pimblett has given his thoughts on when he knew Jordan Leavitt had ‘crumbled’ at UFC London.

There’s no way of getting around it – Paddy Pimblett is rapidly becoming a superstar in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

There was always a good chance he was going to make a strong transition over from Cage Warriors and although he isn’t quite being tipped to become a world champion just yet, he’s certainly got a whole lot of potential after racing to a 3-0 record since joining the promotion.

His charisma was always going to be one of the biggest appeals for the UFC but in addition to that, he’s also been able to produce the goods inside the cage with stoppage victories over Luigi Vendramini, Kazula Vargas and Jordan Leavitt.

The latter of the three, against Leavitt, was believed to be the most formidable challenge he’d faced to date in the UFC. It took place last month in London and after overcoming some early adversity, ‘The Baddy’ was able to sink in the submission and walk away with his hand raised high.

Now, in a video of him watching the performance back, Paddy has noted how he believes his famous walkout played a role in Jordan’s downfall.

“There’s no feeling like it, everyone just screaming your name. It was loud, it was very loud. It’s funny because Jordan was saying before ‘oh it won’t affect me’, and I was looking at him in his eyes thinking ‘wow, you have proper crumbled here’. Obviously when the fight starts he forgets about it, but before the fight leading up to it, I was looking at his face like wow – you are shook up here, son.”
