PAC-MAN Live experience announced for Manchester
For anyone who has ever fancied being inside a computer game - here comes the PAC-MAN Live Experience. The iconic video game is being turned into a live action event that will be coming to Manchester in a world first before "multiple venues across the UK".
Players will get to step into the role of PAC-People, and just like in the nostalgic game, physically collect power pellets and fruit whilst dodging ghosts and collecting points to get to victory. It is set to be suitable for age groups from "8 - 80".
The news was announced by Little Lion Entertainment and Bandai Namco Entertainment who are teaming up on the new project. It comes following Little Lion Entertainment's acquisition of The Games Arenas, home to the current Chaos Karts experience on Manchester's Lower Byrom Street.

Utilising state-of-the-art augmented reality technology, players will see the classic PAC-MAN characters and elements seamlessly integrated into their real-world surroundings. Blending physical activity with digital gameplay, participants will explore multiple mazes and up to 12 different levels, including a new bonus game.
Bosses say it will "transform everyday locations into a dynamic playground filled with challenges and surprises with as further venues begin to open". They add that: "The PAC-MAN LIVE EXPERIENCE is exactly what it sounds like; real life, playable PAC-MAN, on an epic scale."
