Osaze Urhoghide opens door to Celtic transfer exit as defender 'very happy' to stay at Oostende

Celtic defender Osaze Urhoghide has revealed he'd be "very happy" to stay at Oostende next season.

The 21-year-old moved to the Belgian side late in the January transfer window on a loan until the end of the season.

He struggled for game-time under Ange Postecoglou after being signed from Sheffield Wednesday last summer, appearing only once in a Europa League dead rubber against Real Betis.

Oostende have an option to buy this summer and Urhoghide confessed he'd be content to make the move to the continent, although refused to close the door on a return to Celtic.

He told Oostende's official website: "I will be very happy if I still play at Oostende next season. I'm having a great time here, but I also felt great in Celtic!
