Opinion: Celtic treble winner's time at club seems all but over

It seems very likely that Christopher Jullien will not be a Celtic player for much longer.

The central defender gave an interview to Goal last week, where he stated that he was fit but he hasn’t been selected by Ange Postecoglou, and that he would like some more playing time than he is getting.

That playing time didn’t come in the last game of the season against Motherwell, Jullien didn’t even make the bench.

The Frenchman, who won the treble with the Hoops in season 2019/20, has one year left on his contract, and it seems that won’t be renewed, and therefore it makes sense for the Hoops to look to sell Jullien so they can get some kind of good transfer fee for the player.

However, it hasn’t happened, and it would be the best thing for both Jullien and Celtic if he moved on from the Hoops in the summer.

Celtic could still get a decent fee for the 29-year-old, as he was a good player for the Bhoys until
