Omeruo rules out return to NPFL, eyes scouting role

Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, may have ruled out the possibility of his return to join the likes of Ahmed Musa and Brown Ideye in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

I don’t see myself going back to the Nigerian league to play, but I am someone who likes scouting good players,” he said.Omeruo emphasised his passion for Nigerian football, particularly in identifying and nurturing young talent.

“I know the quality we have in Nigeria football. It is immense. After football, I will love to manage the Nigerian league. I know it is not easy, but we should be selling players like the Brazilians, not for meager funds,” he stated.
