Olympics latest: swimming success as Daniel Wiffin and Ellen Walshe qualify for finals

The Irish swimmers have got Day Three off to a positive start at the Olympics in Paris.

World champion Daniel Wiffen has qualified in first place for the final in the 800m breaststroke after winning his heat and securing the fastest time.

Ellen Walshe came home fourth in her heat to qualify for the final of the 400m individual medley and back in the pool at 7.30pm.
