Olivier Giroud’s filthy touch for AC Milan vs Udinese

Olivier Giroud really has been living it up in Italian climes.

In the colours of Serie A stalwarts AC Milan, Giroud has been having a ball, producing some truly remarkable performances despite his advancing age.

The Frenchman was always one of the most underrated performers in the Premier League, rarely letting down both Arsenal and Chelsea whenever he took to the pitch.

Sure, he didn’t plunder goals, but he was the kind of player capable of making a whole lot out of absolutely nothing or turning the tide of a clash with his genius.

So it should come as no surprise that he is tearing it up in Italy, where he seems to be making light work of some of the defenders over there.

He scored one of the goals of pre-season with an astonishingly cool finish vs FC Koln and seems to be carrying on his merry way now that the season proper has begun.

Milan welcomed Udinese to the San Siro for their opening game of the season, managing to clinch all three points thanks to a 4-2 victory.

While Giroud didn’t manage to etch his name onto the scoresheet, he still managed to turn heads with a quite obscene piece of control in the second half.

Under intense pressure from the defender behind him, Giroud somehow managed to pluck a long range pass clean out of the air even though it appeared to have already gone passed him.

He spoons the ball up, shakes off the attentions of the defender and then brings the ball down to begin a possible counter-attack.
