Olivia Mehaffey misses cut at Jabra Ladies Open

Olivia Mehaffey missed the cut by two shots at the Jabra Ladies Open after a second round 75.

Having carded the same score in Thursday's opening round at the Evian Resort Golf Club in south-east France, it left the Down native eight over for the tournament in a tie for 77th.

Anne van Dam and Linn Grant share the lead on seven under heading into the final round.

Starting the day two clear of the chasing pack, van Dam extended her advantage early on when she posted a one-under 70.

Sweden's Grant then responded in the afternoon as she carded six birdies en route to a four-under 67 to match the Dutch star’s tally.

England's Hayley Davis sits in third on five-under-par after a posting a 67, just ahead of the duo of France's Celine Herbin and Englishwoman Gabs Cowley who are four-under-par.

In total, 67 players made the cut for Saturday's final round which stood at six over.
