Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2: Derek Chisora makes knockout prediction

Anthony Joshua will knock Oleksandr Usyk out in their rematch this weekend.

That’s the view of AJ’s mate Derek Chisora, who was impressed by what he saw from his old pal during the open workout.

Joshua faces Usyk in Saudi Arabia with his old IBF, WBA and WBO world heavyweight titles up for grabs.

The Ukrainian is the favourite with the bookies having his whole professional career of 19 fights without defeat.

However, Joshua has made changes to his coaching team following his defeat last September in London, as he looks to reclaim his belts.

And Chisora is expecting an explosive finish in Jeddah on Saturday night.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “From what I saw from AJ, the way he was chucking his shots from the new coach, with the whole team he’s set around for his new fight, I can guarantee that AJ will be winning via knockout.

“If we don’t win the World Cup it doesn’t mean we have to come out of the World Cup or not play football any more.

“It’s just the way of life, you win some, you lose some. If you get divorced you marry another woman! What’s the problem?!

“Him winning would be amazing, him losing would be dreadful for us and then we have to build him back up again to fight again.”

Like Chisora, Dillian Whyte also reckons Joshua will emerge victorious as he urged him to be more aggressive in the rematch.

“I do expect him to bounce back, he’s a British fighter like me and I only support our own, so I do hope he gets the job done,” Whyte said to Sky Sports.
