Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2: AJ's body transformation from pro debut to now

A recent Instagram post has highlighted British heavyweight Anthony Joshua’s physical transformation from his professional debut back in 2013 to the physique that the two-time world heavyweight champion possesses now.

The post compares AJ’s physique from his 2013 debut against Italian Emanuele Leo, to his weigh-in before defending his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO world heavyweight titles against Joseph Parker in March 2018.

On his professional debut in 2013, the Olympic gold medalist weighed in at just over 16st 6lbs. Five years later, the defending unified heavyweight world champion weighed in at 17st 4lbs against New Zealander Joseph Parker, having dropped down from a monstrous 18st 2lb in his previous fight against Carlos Takam.

AJ has certainly packed on the muscle and enhanced his physique throughout his professional career, putting his 6 foot 6 powerful physique to use with an incredible knockout-to-win percentage of 91.67% in his 26 fights.

The Instagram post, which can be seen below, shows three physiques of Joshua throughout his career. The first image is from his debut in 2013, the second is before his fight with Eric Molina in 2016 and the third is before his 2018 fight with Parker.
