Offaly bring Greg Fennelly's tenure to abrupt end
Greg Fennelly's tenure as Offaly manager is over following a decision by their LGFA executive last night.
The Faithful County have had a poor start to the Lidl National Football League Division 3.
They've conceded 10-37 in defeats to Wexford, Carlow and Limerick.
In a short statement, they said: "Following a meeting with the Offaly LGFA Executive and Intermediate Management last night, Greg Farrelly has been relieved of his role as manager, effective immediately."
Fennelly was appointed ahead of the 2024 season. It was his second stint at the job, having led their junior team to Leinster and All-Ireland glory in 2013.
They face Laois later in the month in the bid to avoid the drop to Division 4.
