Odell Beckham Jr: Ian Rapaport hints at a possible deal for wide receiver

NFL reporter Ian Rapaport has claimed that there is still a chance that Odell Beckham Jr returns to the Los Angeles Rams this offseason.

Odell Beckham Jr is currently in the process of looking for a new team in the league, having been released by the Los Angeles Rams at the end of this last season. With the Rams he finally managed to win the first Super Bowl of his career, a game in which he put up 52 yards off just two receptions, one of those being a touchdown to get the game’s opening score.

However that game wasn’t without its problems for Beckham Jr, as he was forced to leave the game early with what was later confirmed to be a torn ACL, the second one of his career having suffered a similar injury during the 2020 season whilst a member of the Cleveland Browns.

And it might be that combination of injuries that is putting a lot of teams off, because as teams get OTAs underway, there is still no indication as to when he might be asked to join a roster in the NFL.

The other thing that might be putting teams off is his attitude, something that has caused him trouble throughout his career both with the Browns and his first team in the NFL, the New York Giants, but when it comes to production on the field, there’s no doubt that he can still have an impact on any side.

Last season for instance, he started 13 games across both the Browns and Rams, putting up 44 receptions for  537 yards and 5 touchdowns, so whilst his legs might be letting him down, there is no doubting that his hands aren’t:
