Odell Beckham Jr. claims Rams gave him 'low' contract offer, Sean McVay responds

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent as he continues to recover from an ACL injury he suffered in Super Bowl LVI.

The 29-year-old took to social media to tell his side of the story as it relates to contract negations with his former team, the Los Angeles Rams.

"LA knows where I wanted to be… but they didn’t offer me....ANYthing!" he said on Twitter. "So idk what people want me to do, I def kno my worth and what the offer was isn’t reflective of that. So it’s tough to say that I can come on back even tho I thought I finally found that home !"

Then in a separate tweet, Beckham said the Rams presented him with "the lowest of low offers."

After learning about the series of tweets, Rams head coach Sean McVay said during a media session on Wednesday, "I love Odell. We have constant dialogue."

McVay went on to say, "[Odell] also knows that certainly I don't think that's the last [offer] that would come from us. I'm not familiar with what it is. He knows how we feel about him. We've got a little bit of time. But [I] love Odell, nothing but good things coming from me."

Speculation has been swirling for months about a potential landing spot for the three-time Pro-Bowl wideout.
